DEVIVE | PC | Solo Player

Action-Adventure | ≈ 4 hours of play

Released on March 2026

xx,xx€

DEVIVE is an action-adventure game where your life is constantly decreasing. Run into a race against death to bring your child back to life, drain the energy of your enemies to survive, unlock skills to forge your fighting style, and solve a variety of puzzles to harvest the power of a fallen entity.

Drain life from your ennemies

Drain the energy of organic enemies to stay alive while your life is constantly decreasing. When you dominate an organic enemy, the properties of your attacks change. Use this mechanic to gain an advantage during encounters.

Fight and face dangers

Also face forged golems to repel anyone who covets Talakti's power. Combat is fast-paced and based primarily on ranged attacks and unique skills.

Puzzle

Environmental secrets and puzzles are the key to progress and to reaping the power of a fallen and once-enslaved entity.

Skills

Customize gameplay by unlocking a variety of skills affecting your fighting style, drain efficiency, mobility and vitality.

Roberta Carpenito

She's been playing video games since the age of 4 alongside her older brother, and her love for gaming has only grown deeper over the years. Today, she brings to life the characters she conceptualizes, but she also enjoys exploring anything even remotely related to artistic creation.

#Favorite games:  Sekiro, Dark Souls, Lies of P, Tunic, Zelda: Twilight Princess, SMT.

Joakim Chapelle

Lead Programmer

Joakim is a Computer Science Engineer specializing in video game development, channeling his expertise into shaping the next generation of game developers. He heads the Programming option of the Master’s degree in Video Game at Haute École Albert Jacquard (HEAJ) and serves as Gaming Coordinator at Haute École en Hainaut (HEH), with Unreal Engine 5 as his daily playground. Immersed in video games since childhood, Joakim is a bon vivant and provider of laughs. No programming challenge can resist him.

#Favorite games:  Final Fantasy X, Guild Wars 2, Battle Field 3, Outer Wilds, The Witcher 3, Minecraft.

Gaël Gilson

Game Designer

Gaël has always been immersed in the world of gaming and is a true jack-of-all-trades! A former high school French teacher, he pursued his passion to the point of getting a PhD in Game Studies. Today, he shares his knowledge by teaching game design and storytelling at the HEAJ in Namur, Belgium. When he's not creating games (his childhood love, initiated with RPG Maker!), he devotes himself to writing young adult novels.

#Favorite games: Celeste, Tunic, Xenoblade Chronicles, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Pokemon.

Christophe Laduron

CEO & Executive Producer

Christophe entered the world of video games through pedagogy, bringing his expertise to the creation of HEAJ's master's degree in video games. He quickly noticed how his skills could thrive in the role of game producer. This discovery led to a new adventure: co-creating a video game studio with colleagues who had become friends. A gamer since childhood, he finds as much pleasure in observing games as taking part in them. Outside of work, he enjoys extreme sports such as downhill mountain biking. His philosophy: “Don't predict the future, create it.”

#Favorite games:  Tunic, God of War, The Last of Us, RE4, Journey, Wreckfest & Gran Turismo.

FX Mélard

#Favorite games:  Fortnite, PUBG, Mario Kart, V Rising.

Gilles Remy

CTO

A lifelong Chocobo enthusiast, Gilles traded his job as a computer network engineer for video game studies at HEAJ and training as a nature guide. He loves engine programming and problem-solving as much as he loves hiking in the wilderness and listening to birdsong. He was 6 years old when he first touched an Atari. In short, he's a good seed!

#Favorite games:  Warcraft III, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Nier Automata, Tunic, Little Big Adventure, Final Fantasy X.
